Cody and Daisy
Class of December 2008
Before kate started training she was scared of every little sound and movement, she pulled on her leash while walking, jumped on everyone and would try stealing food. Now its like we have a completly different dog, i couldnt even get kate to leave the driveway for a walk or get in the car. now she cant wait for each adventure shes no-longer scared of other dogs and she also doesn't rush outside. she waits patiently and her confidence is amazing, considering all of the trouble we had in the first few months, thank you caroline i am looking forward to your advanced classes, i know kate is going to miss training until then - class of september 2008
we really enjoyed your classes everyone had equal time, we felt that you showed a genuine interest in us. Your techniques with socialization and proofing were a great help and fun too!       - class of June 2008
Definately more responsive, less destructive, more respectful.. class of december 2008...Dexeter and Aimy
really enjoyed the training, the hour went by really fast.
class of feb 2009 Izzy and Joanne
I really liked the fact that we all received a certificate tonight. Other
classes I've been to, gave them out to the top three dogs, which in my
view, is not right at all. I was very proud of Heidi tonight, she missed the
class last week with the down stay and although it took a few tries,
she did get it and allowed people to walk over her.
I certainly will give your name out, thats how I heard about you through
class of feb
Susan and Heidi
GROUP BASIC OBEDIENCE CLASSES
This class is held   5 times a year and is open to all breeds of dogs from 3 months   upwards. The classes are held at LATIMORE LAKE COMMUNITY CENTRE, Latimore lake road.(east St John). From January 2010 I will be holding them on a Wednesday evening , 7-8pm. The cost is $150.00 (no tax)
Thee course lasts for a total of 10, 1 hour classes and includes the following

…A one hour class of theory   in which you will learn why your   dogs may   develop issues and how we have to learn to understand   them to be able to correct them. How they communicate with us and each other via body language, dog   pack order and   as much info as I can get to your within the hour .
… over the rest of the classes we will be covering the
How to walk with a calm relaxed dog on leash and off leash.
The sit, and sit-stay both   long and short distance
The very important “come “ command
The down and down-stay   both long and short distance.

I have found that every class learns at a different rate so if time allows for extra we will also learn , manners at the door and stairs, leave it command, safety at the roadside, shake a paw and rollover tricks.
With each new thing we learn we also do lots of proofing to insure that the dog really understands what he has just been taught. The proofing is usually done in the form of fun doggy   games or exercises.

PRIVATE LESSONS OR BEHAVIOR ISSUES
For those of you   who are not sure about group classes   I can do with you a 1 hour private lesson that will cover the same as we do in the class. For Dogs with ANY kind of behavior issue   I can   come around   to your   home or you can meet up with me here at my kennels. The cost is $30.00 per hour if you come to the kennels, or $40.00 per if I travel to your home.

BOARD AND PROFFESIONAL TRAINING BY CAROLINE BIRD.
This is for you if you want me to personally train your dog for you at my kennels. The cost includes boarding fees and is $250.00 per week, or $40.00 per day. You don’t need to be here so take a vacation and   come home to a calmer happier dog.

AGILITY…… for more info go to the agility page.
huge improvements in manners and listening skills,
really enjoyed the classes and plan on taking more
-september 09,
i am so glad i took bailey to classes, i have learnt alot along with bailey, she has become a better dog, hardley wines or barks, she laso is more obedient and more content. i am also glad that i did the classes in a group setting because she was able to socialize with other people and dogs. i am more confident   about her actions around other dogs and people, i have alot of the classes embedded in my mind. i can picture them and i know what is should do if i need to work on any special aspects of bailey's behavoir or commands. i know hands on is the best way, so glad for the sheets on everything we did.
really was a positive learning experience for ME and bailey thanks so much.
all the best,
Patricia Murry
